As people across the world unite to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, our teams worldwide are working around the clock to help provide essential services and support our communities. One way we are supporting those in need is by inviting Indian customers, and our over 65,000 employees in India, to join us in raising funds for nonprofit organizations on the frontlines of this crisis.
Customers and employees can contribute to the PM CARES fund or our NGO partners – Oxfam India, United Way, Habitat for Humanity, and Akshaya Patra. We’ve made it easy to donate with the click of a button on our website here. In addition, Amazon will donate 10% on top of the amount customers contribute and will match employee donations.
We look forward to raising INR 100 crores to help those in need during these challenging times.
These donations will go a long way in providing our brave frontline health workers with protective equipment and the vulnerable with basic food and hygiene essentials.
