In preparation for the festive season, Amazon India has announced the expansion of its sort centre network. The 5 new sort centres will be launched in Vishakhapatnam, Farukhnagar, Bangalore, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Along with the new centres, Amazon India will also expand 8 existing sort centres to increase overall sortation area to 2.2 million square feet, across 19 states.
