As the Amazon Festive Yatra began in Delhi it made its first pit stop in Mathura - a popular pilgrim destination which will quench the thirst of a pilgrim's trail. At dusk, Mathura turns into a mystical city as you hear beautiful verses sung to praise Lord Krishna in form of Bhajan and keertans along with enthralling tales of the much-loved deity. We witnessed that and much more as we spoke to out customers from Mathura.

1. Prem Mandir at Mathura: The Temple is imbued with a sense of serenity, grandeur and intricate marble carvings and is dedicated to the eternal love of Radha Krishna.

2. Bara Imambara: An Islamic tomb in Lucknow, this was built by the Nawab of Awadh region as a part fo relief project for a major famine that took place in 1784. Commonly known as the Asafi Imambara, this tomb was built for the Shia sect of Muslims. A series of arched doorways and two-stepped gardens with tall gateways, the architecture of this tomb is known to be devoid of European elements.

3. Agra fort is also known as the Akbari Mahal, is one of the finest Mughal forts in India. This red sandstone fort was built on the banks of Yamuna River in 1565 by Akbar. Vast undergrounds, maze of buildings and colossal double walls rise over 20 meters in height and measure 2.5 km in circumference.

5. Jhulta Minar is a part of Siddi Bashir masjid located in Ahemdabad. An intriguing architectural wonder, this is one of those mysterious shaking minarets, wherein if one minaret is shaken then the other minaret shakes within a few seconds! The minar is 34 metres long and has three storeys and has strong influences from Islamic and Rajputana elements.
